Imaging Accreditation (QSI)

The Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI). It was formerly known as Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme (ISAS). The course is intended to be run primarily as an in-house event and aims to assist Imaging and Interventional Radiology staff in their preparation to meet the QSI Standard as it is applied to their departments during the UKAS accreditation process.

The one day duration course is based around review and research undertaken on interpretation of the QSI Standard combined with experience of health sector specific national and international standards – including UKAS / QSI & ISAS published materials and guidance.

The QSI Standard can be applied to any organisation performing radiological imaging regardless of the number of staff or the scope of imaging activities, from large NHS or private service providers.

The QSI standard is designed to be applied to all current imaging modalities and to interventional Radiology Services to include; general X-ray, ultrasound, computer tomography (CT), interventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), dual energy X-ray absorption (DEXA) and symptomatic breast mammography
