ISO 15189:2012 Is the international standard for Medical Laboratories – Requirements for Quality and Competence.

Upon implementing an ISO 15189 compliant system, it is a mandatory requirement that organisations have; staff trained as Internal Auditors to assess the performance of managerial and technical processes of the quality management system - clause 4.14.5

KCS presents the solution in the form of their highly regarded one day duration, Internal Auditor Training Course that has been designed specifically to allow laboratories to satisfy the above requirement while in parallel preparing staff to better understand the operation of their quality management system and their role as QA Manager / Internal Auditor. The course is available Online, In-House and as a Public event.

Other requirements satisfied by attending the course include ISO’s 17043,22870 and MHRA, ISAS, HTA etc.

KCS ensures its course is founded upon the accepted norms of internationally recognised good auditing practice including ISO 19011 and ISO 17021. In addition, published guidelines from the Royal College of Pathologists (‘RCPath’), Institute of Biomedical Scientists (‘IBMS’) and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (‘UKAS’) are included where appropriate.
